If I have a blog in a free hosted site, how can I earn money? Can I earn money through my blog from advertisers? How?

Earning money through a blog in a Free hosted site is not much different than if you were using paid hosting. I would not suggest using wordpress.com, if you intend on using the blog for income. They have strict rules and you are limited to what you can do with them. wordpres.org is much less strict, but you do have to pay for your hosting with them. I would go with blogger for the purpose you are referring to. You can make money from a blogspot blog, which is completely Free by promoting Affiliate Products from places like Clickbank and Commission Junction. So, yes you can earn money through advertisers. You just need to find a low competition niche that you would be passionate about and then run with it. You will need plenty of content on your blog and not all necessarily trying to sell your readers something. You can always take a look at other blogs that are related to the same niche to get some ideas on how you want one to look and the feel that you want yours to have.

I am personally going to use blogger for my blog, but right now I am still just trying to narrow down the niche avenue that I want to take.

Mama bear there are many different ways to make money off of a blog. One way is with adsense and another is affiliate marketing with Click Bank and other sites like that. You let Google place adds on your side for adsense and for affiliate marketing you add banners from the different companies.

I have played around with blogger before and I really liked it. It was really simple to use, but at the time I didn't realize that I could make money with this type of thing. The more I learn, the more I am considering starting another one for the sole purpose of making some money using the techniques that bluebonnet has suggested.

I'm a big fan of blogger, and they make it very, very easy for you to set it up for money to be made, both from adsense and affiliate marking.

I am a huge fan of blogger as you can see, but I have recently started trying to use Wordpress.org. There is so much more you can do with this to personalize your site. I will keep everyone updated on how it goes.
