If I had one main suggestion to give anyone that is a newbie to Affiliate Marketing, it would be to not make a habit of checking your stats and/or income amount made on a regular basis. I made the mistake of doing this, when I was just starting out. I almost quit my business. It takes time to start seeing results in your Clickbank account, and if you check every single day and the amounts are not what you want them to be at that time, then you will get down on yourself and possibly not continue on. Time and continual traffic will get you the results that you want, but you will need to be patient.

I would suggest that you not check it anymore than once a week at the very most. Preferably, I would recommend that you not check it more than once a month. I know that will be difficult, but it will be well worth it for you to do it that way in the beginning.

This is good to know, because I would be one to get down and out if I don't see $$ signs in my account everyday. Sad

Sort of like when you're just starting a new diet or exercise regimen--don't weigh yourself every day, or you'll get discouraged and quit before you see results.

Oh I agree, I was checking every single day and I gave up and then I found myself not wanting to work on my blog anymore. It was not until yesterday when I saw I had earned commission that I realized I should not have given up so easy.
