How To Avoid Scams?
Does anyone have good advice for avoiding being taken in by scammers? After all, there are a lot of unscrupulous sorts on the internet who make a living off of preying on people looking to make a bit of money ("Nigerian Royalty," anyone?)
I'm still just testing the waters, so I'd love some advice on what to watch out for.

There are so many out there that it is hard to say specifically what to watch for. The best thing that I can suggest that you do is to research everything very well, and then come back to this forum and other forums and ask a lot of questions about anything that you may come across. So, if you find something you think you may be interested in, this is when you need to come back to ask specific questions about it before you make any decisions.

I agree with this so much. I have been scammed a couple times and what they had in common was that I made and impulse by on a program with out researching it! What are the best ways to do that research though?

Re: How To Avoid Scams?
Research is essential, before getting involved with any programs. You do that research by asking questions in forums like this one pertaining to whatever program you are thinking about getting involved in. You can also do a google search on the program to read numerous reviews about the program you are interested in. I would keep in mind that some of these reviews may not actually be honest, so the method I prefer is asking questions to real people in a forum.
